The trailer had me hooked—Abhishek Bachchan seemed poised for a soul-stirring comeback. Amit Trivedi’s music album, with its three stellar songs, only raised expectations, becoming my nightly obsession. But does the film live up to that soulful promise? Unfortunately, it falls short.
Abhishek’s portrayal of KD, a man in his 40s grappling with early dementia, feels strained. His young co-star, Daivik Bhagela, shines as Ballu, stealing scenes with ease. However, Abhishek’s chemistry with him feels off. Playing a dementia-afflicted character is no easy feat, but connecting with a child is an all-or-nothing deal—Abhishek, sadly, misses the mark.
